Michael Jon Amditis

Michael J. Amditis of Boca Raton passed away peacefully  at his home on Sunday, June 26, 2016.  He was 57 years old.    Mike's  greatest joy in life was his family; just watching his son grow into a responsible young adult was a daily blessing.

An avid sports fan, the best of times were shared between father and son as they cheered their team to victory.  Mike enjoyed all types of sports from football to nascar.  Going to a New York Yankee game with his son was truly a highlight; but his enthusiasm was uncontained by the excitement of the recent announcement that son, Michael, had received a baseball partial scholarship offer from the University of Miami. 

Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Steven, and his father, Alex.  He is survived by Amy, his loving wife of 25 years; son Michael; mother Helen; and step-mother Lucy.  He also leaves behind many extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 29th at the funeral home from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established to help with additional expenses.   Information may be obtained thru the Glick Family Funeral Home.
