Aunt Betty was always constant. Constant in love, constant in prayer, constant in faith. She was so in love with Jesus. I will miss you my great-aunt. Enjoy the company of your husband, your brother (my grandpa), and all who loved the Lord. Looking forward to joining you in Glory.

Our sincere condolences to Bob, Ruth, Marion and Richie. Your mom was a special lady - we are thankful to have known her during our Word of Life years.. We will miss her cheery Christmas greetings but rejoice in knowing that she is at home with her Lord. We pray that you feel the warm comfort of God's presence during this time.

Gareth and I were always glad to see Betty at church and St Andrews. Gareth has a lot of fond memories from working at Word of Life. My fondest memories are from the warm visits with her while she adjusted to a new season in her life at the medical center of St Andrews. She was always so encouraging and fun to be with; I will miss the opportunities to visit her. BUT what a "day of rejoicing that will be, when we ALL see Jesus." Be assured of our prayers for you - her family - you have been greatly blessed and your grief is great as well. HE understands and will always be there to comfort you.

Each life holds a unique purpose that is designed by God and is guided by His word. Betty was blessed to live a long life to know grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her passing is not a time to mourn but to rejoice and celebrate a life well lived. Sincere condolences to the family, especially to Bob and Sandy Scharmann.

To the Scharmann & Brower families:

The tears flowed when the call came that my dear and precious friend, Betty, had gone home to be with the Lord on Feb 6th. We were friends for almost 55 years and never stopped being in touch--even to the last birthday card she sent me last September.

Betty was tall and straight--in stature outside and character inside. She walked upright with her Lord all the days I knew her. It was easy for Betty to talk about Jesus and/or share her love for Him. She was a delight to have as a friend, funny, open, loving, kind and never ever 'not' be happy to see one and all--family and friends. My last phone visit with Betty was to discuss Word of Life ministries, where many of her years were spent with her husband and children--it's where we met. I had sent her a book of photos and stories spanning the 75 years of ministry for WOL.. Oh, what memories we shared-Fred, her husband was the business manager there for many years. Upon moving to Florida we saw each other often while I, too, lived there.. We shared memories, special birthdays and other celebrations with her children and friends. I will miss my dear friend and sister in the Lord. It won't be long, dear one, for we'll see each other sooner than later. Finally home to be with your Fred and your Savior. Your loving friend, "Rosie" Psalm 116:15: Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Amen!
