Father Tim was wonderful. One of the 3 most wonderful priest I’ve ever known, all in one parish—St. Jude in Boca Raton.
I remember him so well even though it has been many years since I moved back up north. Truly, a wonderful priest.

I'll always have fond memories of the many theological discussions we shared over a glass of scotch. Rest well, my old friend.

From the skyline of Manhattan in NYC, I gaze upon the beauty of NYC. Lights, beauty and radiance. I close my eyes and know heaven experiences the same- as Fr. Timothy is now in paradise. My heart, prayers, friendship and thoughts turn to Boca's St. Jude. To the Carmelite community of whom Fr. Timothy loved in boca/ and NY in Middletown. Most of all to his family he spoke with such affection and beautiful memories of. The Carmelite's Little Flower priest has left us for heaven. And we all know how much he loved St. Therese.

There is much to say about Fr. Timothy. I first met Fr. Timothy during the years I lived in Florida. I attended St. Jude in Boca for my long tenure in Florida. St. Jude and Boca shined because of the devotion, love and selfless service Fr. Timothy shared with the community of St. Jude. Gentleness was immediately felt when you had the absolute blessing to meet him. His compassion was enormous. A spiritual depth would leave you in conversations with him for the best. When you were suffering over anything, his words filled your heart with comfort. You were empowered to reach your fullest potential for God. Fr. Timothy walked with me through so many struggles, good times, and then the hardest times. Fr. Timothy was a Carmelite for all seasons. I was sad to hear of his passing here in New York. Yet I knew upon hearing we have an angel in heaven interceding for us.

Fr. Timothy was my spiritual director during my time in Boca. As well as my confessor. I can speak on a very personal level, no matter what happened, or how things went, his love was always in abundance, reminding me so much of our Heavenly Father in heaven. A true and genuine friend to me. I pray now from NY for the people of St. Jude, the Carmelite Community there, and beyond, his family and those us us in NY, join with you in thanking God for the life of Fr. Timothy Johnson, O.Carm. Fr. Timothy, my friend, rest with God in heaven. Looking forward to the day we see you in heaven. Knowing you are with us in prayer, always. You are missed!

My condolence to the family. Losing a loved one to death is the hardest thing to deal with. We can draw comfort from the Bible account of the resurrection of Jesus' friend, Lazarus, recorded at John 11:1-44 paying special attention to verses 11-14, 25, 26, 33-35, 43. One day we too will see our loved ones again as promised at Revelation 21:3-5 and Psalm 37:11, 29. Until that day comes please draw comfort from Jeremiah 29:11, 12. There Jehovah says when we pray to him, he will listen.

My condolences to Fr. Timothy's sister and family and also to his Carmelite confreres. I knew Timothy as a small and gentle man who was soft-spoken and very humble; yet, he was a spiritual comfort and giant to many. May he rest in the Eternal Presence and with Mary whom he held dear to himself all the days of his earthly life. May Aquinas greet Timothy, his old pal, with joy.
