To Fred’s family
I was sadden to just learn of Fred’s passing. I played on the 1969 Hinsdale South basketball team. I only went to South my Senior year after moving here from Omaha, Nebraska. Fred was a great guy and made me feel right at home. Such a great smile and one hell of a basketball player. One of his kindness moments of Fred’s was when we won a tournament on the road and rather then him walking into a full gym of fans with the trophy he handed it to me a guy with saw little playing to walk into the cheering gym. That is just the type of guy he was. I knew he would go on to have a great life and now reading him I see HE DID R.I.P my friend.
Love and prayers to his whole family

Bobbie, Just on a fluke I googled Fred and am shocked to see he died. 5yrs ago!! I am so sad to hear this. Working with Fred was one of the best experiences of my life. He was the kindest, most generous of bosses I ever had. And I worked for him thanks to you!! It was your suggestion. My sincere sympathies.

Fred was a very special man. From the day I met him we bonded immediately. It's so hard to write about the wonderful memories I have of him, Xmas parties, Final Four Parties, seeing him coming back victorious from a trial, hearing him talk about Mason ("I named him you know, "MY SON"), sending him on trips for National Seating and so many other memories. Bobbie and Mason, my love, hugs and prayers for both of you on the loss of a truly wonderful Dad, Mason and hubby, Bobbie. I just don't know what else to say except that one day we will all meet and be together. With love, Marlene & Jerry

Bobbi and Mason and Family,
First of all, God bless all of you and God bless Freddy. He was my first boss and my friend. He gave me my first opportunity and believed in me. He was a great coach and mentor and to this day, I take his lessons with me. But Fred is more than that. Fred was my friend. I remember so many great memories with Fred. My first interview. The look on his face when I won my first trial. He was with me in Jacksonville when they announced Jacksonville would get its NFL franchise. Because of him, I met so many good people and friends in Boca and will never forget my time there. God bless you all and may Fred's soul live eternally in the peace that only God can give.

Fred was a great attorney representing our company National Seating for over 30 years and we became good friends along the way.
We traveled to many courtrooms around the country and a few good golf courses as well.
I could always count on Fred for a good ear and friendly advise, I will miss him dearly.
My condolences to Mason and Bobbi.

Fred and his pal from Yale, Walt Kuhlman, were the very first classmates I met when I picked up my textbooks the first day we showed up at the UW Law School in the fall of 1973. Our lockers were next to each other for three years, and I remember how Fred always was just the same, steady, nice guy, even during final exams! I am not in the least bit surprised to read that he led such a super and productive life after he moved on from Madison. RIP Fred.
