Used to enjoy him when he would come to the Ashe Reunions in Nc. he was a cousin of mine. Lost contact with him when we stopped having the reunions .my other cousin John Ashe who wrote the book Ash, Ashe, Stillwell.
Was sorry to hear of his passing. Love to his family.

Dave was a a loyal and trusted friend of my father for many years. They along with others spearheaded the early efforts that would make Boca Raton into the beautiful city that exists today. A few years ago I was honored to attend the dedication of a wing in the Boca Raton library that was to be named after him. What a treat it was to be able to sit and listen while Dave held court on all manner of subjects. ...God Bless you Joe and your family...

Sharon & Family; Joe & Family Our deep and sincere sympathy to you in the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. Dave was truly a Boca Raton devoted pioneer in every sense of the word. He loved his city and served it well. He was a good friend to us and SO MANY others. We will miss seeing him and having our conversations that covered many topics about so many things. He knew about old times and what was currently happening in the city. Boca Raton has lost a great servant. May he rest in peace. We are in NC so will not be able to attend the service, but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless !
