Vivian S Jenetopulos

Vivian Savakis Jenetopulos of Boca Raton passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Born in New Haven, CT, August 28, 1927, Vivian moved to Boca Raton in 1980.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Matthew Jenetopulos, her 3 children, Linda (William) Esposito, Theophilus (Eileen) Jenetopulos, George (Margery) Jenetopulos, 8 grandchildren, Anthony and Matthew (Tracey) Esposito;  Elliott, Matthew (Malorie), and Daniel Jenetopulos; Theo, Allison, and Rebecca Jenetopulos and 3 great grandchildren, Jack Esposito, Sophia Esposito, and Elinor Jenetopulos.  She lovingly taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to carry on the traditions of the Greek Culture.

Vivian was very active at both St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in New Haven, CT and at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, FL. She volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for 53 years and at Hospice By The Sea for nearly 20 years.  

Viewing will be from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, 2100 NW 51st St., Boca Raton, FL followed by the Funeral Service.  Interment will be at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL on Monday, November 28, 2016.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church.
