Marion Theresa (Gaglianello) Oro

Marion Theresa Oro (nee Gaglianello), 84, of Boca Raton passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015.

Marion was born on April 17, 1931 in Maspeth, New York. She taught elementary school in New York before retiring to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1986.  She moved to Florida in 1995.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Frances, husband Thomas J. Oro, and brother Joseph Gaglianello.  She is survived by her daughter Deborah Hernley of Lake Worth, FL, son Thomas J. Oro Jr. (Jennifer) of Stuart, FL, 4 grandchildren:  Chad, Natalie, Samantha, and Stephen, sister Marge Healy (Kenneth) of Conway, SC, and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 6 at Glick Family Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 pm.

The family requests expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
