Felice G. Criscuoli

Felice G. Criscuoli, 89, of Fort Lauderdale, FL passed away on August 8, 2016 in Wilton Manors, FL.

Felice was born on June 9, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, and he was the youngest of 5 children.

He attended Catholic School as a boy, and served as an altar assistant for his church. At age 18, he joined the United States Navy, receiving his training in upstate New York at NTS Sampson. Since that time, it has been turned into a park and museum. After his military training, Felice was sent to Japan in 1945 to serve his tour of duty, and when the war in Korea began, he signed up to serve his country in the reserves. Following his military service, he went on to college for aviation in Flushing, NY. In 1952, Felice received a job as a mechanic at Laguardia Airport, working for American Airlines. After 2 years, he became a flight engineer and worked for a total of 48 years, retiring in December of 2000.

Felice is survived by his wife, Barbara Criscuoli, his son, Stephen Criscuoli, his step-children Derek K. Miller and Denise L. Miller, and 7 grandchildren, 3 nieces and 5 nephews.

He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 31st  at the South Florida National Cemetery at 2pm.
