I have only known and worked with David for a few months, but he was one of the warmest, funniest, and most welcoming people that I have ever had the privilege to work with. My sincere sympathies to his family and friends. Vaya con Dios, David.

David is/was a most amazing friend. He kept a positive outlook regardless of the struggles he was going through. Even though I will miss his physical being, I know his spirit will be with all of us, encouraging us to keep on keeping on. David, you are loved!

I first met Dave, when I moved to Boca Raton and we became neighbors over 10 years ago, at the Advent Lutheran church.
He has been a dear friend and confidant, who has been a guiding light in my journey through life, one day at a time.
A compassionate, soft spoken, caring and loving soul who has helped countless individuals.
He will truly be missed by many.
I am compelled to step up, and reach out to help those in need, and fill the void which surely exists from his passing.
I am sure that is what he would have wanted.
Fond memories of Dave will prevail as I carry on as he did.
May he rest in peace.

Those who know Dave well would appreciate the depth of his intellectual, philosophical and spiritual understanding and I have had many a discussion delving deeply into such matters with him. Dave is very knowledgeable in matters of computer science and well aware that information and decisions go through a vetting process of very black and white yes or no gates (electrical on/off) to arrive at a final conclusion the exact way our brains work utilizing biochemical electrical energy in on/off signals processed through neurons via synapses . With the vast majority of humans the order of priorities of these decision making gates starts with self preservation and passes on down the line through others of decreasing importance to the individual issues such as monetary enrichment, inflation of ego and/or power, pleasure and so on until the final conclusion is reached for any decision and action. Dave was one of the rare souls on this planet whose first priority gates were the difference between good and evil and the common good of humanity and the planet over personal promotion and gain. He has touched and helped the lives of many, myself included.
Yes, I speak of him in the present tense, as I have no doubt his soul and essence is now finding answers to many of the questions unanswerable in our present state of existence. I look forward to further philosophical exchanges with Dave based on new and more enlightening circumstances and challenges. He has left this world a better place and there is no greater thing.

My sympathy to the entire Roessler Family. We all go back to the "good old days" on Raymond Rd, Farms II, in Chelmsford growing up there in the 60s and 70s. Life was good! It makes one cherish all the moments when we are with good company as we know not when we will be called to a higher place... We miss you - David...

I am deeply saddened to hear the loss of David. David and my self go back 18 years when we started working together for mercator. I still can hear his funny wits during this Christmas time when we have to work together. We used to go coffee every day for years in the work before I moved from Boca. Our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one.

I meet David back in 1993. We have been friends and thru the years. I will say one thing that Dave said and I do not want to take the credit. He would share about how he came to believe in a higher power that he came to believe in a head of cabbage. I am grateful from that point forward, to see his life grow and change. I will have to keep this story alive and well for my friend Dave.
