Sincere sympathy from the many members of Tennis Auckland New Zealand who had the pleasure of knowing such a gracious lady. Bobbie and Fred were much loved guests at our tennis tournaments in and we shared many happy times with them both. Fond memories.

Thinking of you all today as you farewell Bobby.
The wonderful times we shared, together with Fred and Nonie, at Wimbledon and worldwide are still fresh in my memory and very dear to me .
Bobby was a breath of fresh air and full of fun.
Hers is a life worth celebrating .
Fondest regards
Tom

What wonderful memories we will all have. That bubbly personality. The very best gracious host upon entry to Wimbledon members enclosure. So dignified at Fred’s memorial service at St Paul’s Cathedral. But most importantly a great friend to us both in the United Kingdom and on her visits to New Zealand. For us her memory lives on with Penny and John.

Our loving thoughts and prayers are with you every day. We shall remember our joyous, radiant friend - Bobby - who shared her warmth and enthusiasm wherever she went. For many wonderful years at Wimbledon, Bobby welcomed us to the Members' Enclosure; even a rainy day seemed special. I was thankful to be able to help with those magnificent parties in honour of Fred's birthday, as well as other celebrations. With tender wishes and love from
Margaret Mary, Dickon, Lavell
