Rudoph Cortez Edgehill

Rudolph Cortez Edgehill (known as Rudy to friends) passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015.  He was born October 24, 1938 to Elise Edgehill and Cebert Lord.

He received his early education at St. Philip boy's school.  He later moved to St. Michael to study draftmanship.  In 1960 he met the love of life Monica.  He emigrated to the UK in 1961 where he studied civil engineering.  He married his wife Monica in 1967.

Rudy has always had an entrepenurial spirit, from running his construction company to running his real estate company.  He enjoyed building things and took great pride in his work.

Rudy moved to the USA in 1972, a year after his wife.  In 1973 his son Robert Christopher was born.  Although technically he had only one child he considered Dr. Richard Dunner as his second son.  Rudy adored his son Robert and they had the most special bond.

Rudy entered eternal life on Saturday, July 18, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Monica, sons Robert and Ricardo, mother-in-law Sybil Dash, brother -in-laws Dr. Lamarr and Anselmo Dash, sister-in laws Patricia and Yvonne Dash, four siblings on his fathers side, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visistation will be held from 11am- 1pm on Saturday, August 1 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.  Entombment will follow at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
