John H Groh

Groh, John H, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away August 25, 2016.

John was born May 27, 1928 in East Stroudsburg, PA to John D. and Clarice Hamilton Groh and moved to Knoxville, TN where he met his wife, Dorris Ousley, attending the University of TN. John served as a Lt. in the Army Trans. Corp and was a Distinguished Rifleman.

In 1954, after earning his B.S. in Accounting, they moved to Miami where John started his career as a CPA with E&E, retiring as a partner with KPMG. He was well-respected within his profession and known as a man of honor and integrity who served his clients with confidence and assurance. He enjoyed travel, photography, and made many trips driving throughout the US and Europe with his wife and friends. He was a man of faith, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Boca Raton.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, his cherished daughter Cathy G. Donnellan, son-in-law Richard P. Donnellan and granddaughters Aubrey C. Donnellan and Carly O. Donnellan, who were the joys of his life.

A private family service was held at the Remembrance Chapel followed by inurnment at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
