James Robert Kuiken

James Robert Kuiken (JR) passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 17, 2016. 

JR was born January 4th 1955 in Ridgewood New Jersey to Thomas and Ruth Kuiken.

He is survived by his five brothers:  Thomas, Donald, Glenn, David, and Paul.  He was preceded in death by his sister Joy.

J.R. was a friend to all; he loved helping people.  He could fix, repair and/or build almost anything.   He was a kind and loving man often called “The Gentle Giant”. 

J.R. is going to be missed by many.  He made friends with everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression and a smile as he went on his way. 

A memorial service in celebration of J.R.’s life will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 23rd at Glick Family Funeral Home.   Following the service, everyone is welcome to the Boca Raton American Legion Post 277 for fellowship and refreshments.
