every visit to Gramma Jamie and grandpa Gene I learnt more of everything a man of many talents, was a hard worker we worked togater allot in all sorts of handy work around the house and yard and he always had the patiences to show me how it should be done.

Jamie please accept our sincere sympathy in the passing of your loved one. We enjoyed visiting with you two at the reunion of the shipmates. You two made beautiful music together. We will cherish the memories. Love Gary and Carolyn Van Hill. Zeeland Michigan

It is impossible for us to realize that, as we lose such a great friend of fifty years, Debbie and I must go through the rest of our lives without Gene's kindness, his concern for others, his love for music, and his humor.
We are shocked, hearing of his passing. Gene and Jamie Doyle have become part of our daily life. I will be telling so many great stories about Gene and me, in the entertainment business (as I have, for many years).
When I was a child, I believed that "the life hereafter", meant that those who have to carry on, keep the memory of our loved ones alive. Gene will carry on, in my mind, as a positive remembrance of very happy times.
All of our love to our precious friend, Jamie - and our thanks to her for being a wonderful partner for our lifelong friend, Gene.
We are sad for Jamie and all of Jamie and Gene's family members,
but very pleased that we were so fortunate to have him around for all these years. He will, truly, be missed.
Love,
Debbie and Jimmy Nicholas
