Elvira Ress

The Ress family is grieved to announce the passing on Saturday, November 21, 2015 of their beloved wife, mother and friend, Elvira "Elvie" Ress after a decades' long battle with cancer.

Elvie touched many people with her warm-heartedness and compassion. She was an SICU and PACU nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital and at the University of California - San Diego and devoted her life to helping others.

She was born on June 21, 1959 in Cabugao, Philippines and is survived by her husband, Bradford and son, Elliott.

Family and friends will gather today (Monday) beginning at 4:00pm at Glick Family Funeral Home in love of Elvie and support of each other. A reception will follow.
