Daniel Francisco Solano

Daniel Francisco Solano, “Danny” 48, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Thursday January 21, 2016 after a brave fight with Cancer.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 1pm-2pm, memorial service to follow at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Highway Boca Raton, FL.

Danny was born in Bogota, Colombia on December 26, 1967. He moved to Boca Raton, FL at a young age and made a life long connection to the town and many of the people that lived in the area. Anyone who knew Danny knew him as a loving friend with a heart of gold. He was always there for the people he loved ready to help them any way he could. Danny was a lover of all things outdoors, when he wasn’t surrounding himself with friends and family, he was mountain biking at Quiet Waters Park, water skiing, playing tennis, and kayaking or paddle boarding on one of Boca’s beaches. Danny will truly be missed. 

He is survived by Mother and Step-Father Roberta and Andrew Sabori, Step-Mother Carmen-Ines Solano, brother and sister in-law Robert and Alix Solano, sister and brother in-law Carol and Robert Boehly, brother and sister in-law Bill and Eunice Solano, sister and brother in-law Adriana Forero and Felipe Vergara, brother Mauricio Forero, nieces Stephanie Haeussner, Ashten Gallo, Claudia Solano, and Patricia Solano, nephews Nicholas Solano, Christopher Solano, and Andres Felipe Vergara as well as many loving and devoted friends.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father Guillermo Solano.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Danny Solano wishes to thank Hospice by the Sea for their incredible support and the wonderful service they provide of the community.
