William Wrabiutza Obituary

We are brokenhearted to announce the passing of William “Bill” Wrabuitza.  Bill was a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.  He was called Home by our Lord on March 10, 2024 at 78 years old.

Bill was born in Niagara Falls, Canada on May 19, 1945.  His career brought him to Nassau, Bahamas for seven years before calling South Florida his home.  Bill’s career spanned various trades and businesses.  He served as a heavy machinery mechanic, oversaw operations for a sanitation company, and found great joy as a tanning salon owner with the love of his life and wife, Lenore, which he designed and built with his own two hands.

Bill had a passion for all things related to cars as a hot rod builder and mechanic.  In fact, his passion was taken to a new level, when he finally met Lenore for the first time in person on the day of the Daytona 500 in 2001.  Bill will forever be remembered for his sarcastic humor, witty comebacks, and predictable responses.  He enjoyed a simple life surrounded by those he loved especially all of his grandchildren and step-grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as “Tutone”.  He left a lasting impression on all those he encountered, and his whistle will undoubtedly forever be heard.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Carmelita Wrabiutza.  He is survived by his wife, Lenore Cardinale; his daughter, Tracy and Art Ceres; his son, Billy and Donna Wrabiutza; step-daughters, Frankie Cardinale, Annemarie and Michael Pontillo, Valerie and Frank Guagenti; grandchildren, Tyler and Elyce Wrabiutza, Bryce Rosenbaum, Noah Rosenbaum, and Zakk Wrabiutza; step-grandchildren, Jovanni Cardinale-Lopez, Gaetano “Nino” Pontillo, Gianna Pontillo, Gabriella Pontillo, Anthony Guagenti, and Joseph Guagenti; sister, Beverly and Gord Greer, brothers, Marty and Patty Wrabiutza, and Dennis Wrabiutza; several beloved nieces and nephews; and the true loves of his life, his chihuahuas, Angel, Mazzi, Enzo, and Sassy.

Visitation will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton, Florida on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10:30am at Saint Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Delray Beach, Florida with interment immediately following at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
