William A. Reilly, 100, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in his home in Boca Raton, FL. He was born on November 14, 1924 in Auburn, NY.
Bill retired from a successful career in advertising sales and sales management at the age of 62. He enjoyed nearly 40 wonderful years of retirement, dividing his time between his home in Boca Raton and cruising the world.
Bill is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Mary Ann Barber Reilly. He is survived by his two sons, John Patrick Reilly(Claudia) and William A. Reilly, Jr.(Mindy Ostrow).
He served with distinction in the United States Army during WWII, and then attended Georgetown University on the GI Bill.
Bill was a lover of music, and a sun worshipper until the very end. He was also known to be a staunch Republican and a devout Catholic.
Bill spent his first 40 years as the “life of the party”, and the rest of his years living the “life of Reilly.” He was a devoted husband who rarely left Mary Ann’s side through decades of illness. Never feeling that he’d ever done enough, he was a role model of selflessness.
