William C. Leahy of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. Bill grew up in Lynbrook and Sag Harbor, New York. He met the love of his life, Mary Ann Grant, on Long Beach in Sag Harbor. They married in 1962, and raised their children, Lorraine and Bill, in Oceanside, NY, as well as Sag Harbor. He had a long, successful career as a commercial real estate broker with Cushman & Wakefield in New York. Bill was an avid car lover, boater, and also enjoyed motorcycle riding for many years. After Bill retired, he and Mary Ann split their time between Florida and Long Island. He also volunteered at hospitals in both locations, happy to give his time for people in need. Bill and Mary Ann also loved to travel, especially cruising, and went to many wonderful locations.
Bill was pre deceased by his beloved parents, Catherine & William F. Leahy, and his loving sister-in-law Carol just last month. Bill is survived by his loving wife of almost 63 years, Mary Ann; his brother Michael Leahy; his children, Lorraine Winsor and Bill Leahy, and son in law Robert Winsor; six grandchildren: Caitlin Leahy, Will Leahy, Bo Winsor, Jessica Winsor, Megan Knecht and Ryan Leahy.
