William(Bill) Béla János Kiss, 86, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Bill will be remembered for his infectious smile, generous heart, and unwavering determination.
Born on July 23, 1939, in Zagyvapálfalva, Hungary, Bill entered the world just before the turmoil of the Second World War. At a young age, he fled his homeland to escape the conflict, beginning a remarkable journey that led him to Alberta, Canada and then to settle in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His adventurous spirit and relentless work ethic carried him through many professions—cowboy, machinist, taxi driver, traveling sales manager, and yacht broker—each chapter reflecting his adaptability and charisma.
It was on a trip to deliver a boat to South Florida that Bill discovered his new home. Settling in Boca Raton, he reinvented himself once more, becoming a skilled network engineer and successful business owner of a custom framing and floral preservation company. His curiosity and passion for technology never waned, and he delighted in helping loved ones solve computer troubles or learn new tools in the ever-evolving digital world.
Bill’s happiest moments were spent on the water, listening to music, and surrounded by his family. He brought joy wherever he went, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. To his loved ones, there was never a problem he couldn’t fix.
With any difficulties that he encountered, Bill always persevered and completed every task he set his mind to—a legacy of resilience and love that will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Kiss; his sons, William Béla Kiss, Edward János Kiss and David Kiss; his daughters, Sylvia Elizabeth Kiss and Eva Margaret Kiss; and grandchildren Andrew and Rachael Messerschmidt and David and Jordan Kiss.
A service honoring Bill’s life will be held on December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Glick Family Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed for those friends and family unable to attend in person. To watch the live stream please click the following link http://meet.google.com/jwf-cgcv-bgh
