Vincent Gerard Cajano, lovingly known by friends and colleagues as “Vince” or “Vinny”, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, in Boca Raton, FL. He was born on February 26, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY, to Pasquale Enrico and Ceclia (Imbriani) Cajano, who preceded him in death.
Vince built a remarkable career in the automobile industry, first in New York and later in South Florida. Widely respected as one of the finest Service Directors in the business, he earned the admiration of everyone who worked with him. A natural mentor, he took countless young people under his wing, helping them grow both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Vince lived life with passion. He enjoyed golfing and loved cheering for his New York Giants and New York Yankees. Yet, those who knew him best understood that his greatest joy came from riding his Harley-Davidson with the close friends he considered family. Vince was also an avid skier with deep roots in the Hunter Mountain community. Gifted in many ways, he spoke fluent Italian, sang Italian opera, and could build a motorcycle as expertly as he rode one. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought.
Vincent is survived by his loving and adoring wife, Karen Kennedy; his dearly beloved children, son Vincent G. Cajano, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Erin Cajano and daughter Amanda Cajano; his cherished grandchildren, Vincent G. Cajano III and Bridgette Cajano; his beloved sister Maria Minasso; and his precious fur-babies, Mia, Chloe, and Maybelline.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33431. To watch the live stream of the gathering please click the following link http://meet.google.com/uyg-xogh-xvp
