Vincent William Montella of Deerfield Beach, FL. passed away on May 30th, 2024 at the age of 80. He was born on October 16th, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and resided on the New Jersey Shore.
Vince had an obsession for fishing and moved his family to Pompano Beach, FL. in 1977 to pursue the dream of becoming a Charter Boat Captain. During the remainder of his life he traveled extensively throughout the US East Coast, Bahamas, Caribbean Sea, Cuba, Mexico and Ecuador in pursuit of big game. Additionally, his love for motorcycles enabled him to attend countless events, attend the Sturgis, South Dakota Bike Rally, or ride whenever one of his biker compatriots was available. He expressed unconditional love to his family and dogs Sturgis, Dakota and Montana.
He is pre-deceased by his Mother Dorothy Lipka, Father Vincent Montella, Sister Diane Lipka and Granddaughter Stephanie Montella. He is survived by Sons Vincent S. Montella (Yndira) and Anthony Montella (Judith), Brother Patrick Lipka (Carol), Brother Joseph Lipka (Francine), Sister Doreen Schaub, Sister Theresa Koop (Robert), Granddaughter Melissa Prochilo (Domenick), Grandson Vincent T. Montella and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be on Thursday, June 6th, 2024 located at Coral Ridge Funeral Home & Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Blvd. S. Cape Coral, FL., where he will join his Granddaughter for eternity.
