With our deepest sorrow, we share that on May 29, 2022 at 11:33 p.m., Vincent A. Grasso passed away at home surrounded by his family.
Vincent was born on May 21, 1940 in the Bronx, New York. Vincent is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Gloria, and his three children: Keith, Todd, and Janelle. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Christopher, and his two grandchildren: Keira & Keegan.
At age 18, Vincent joined the military and served honorably in the United States Naval Submarine Service for five years, followed by fifteen years as a diesel engine mechanic in the United Stated Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant.
Vincent lived his life with the utmost perseverance, and faced anything that came his way with an unwavering strength. On his good days, he could be found “tinkering” in the garage, climbing palm trees with his spike boots, playing solitaire on his tablet, walking and grooming the dogs, taking trips to Costco only to come home with the best treats, or baking the best deserts you have ever had.
There are no words to truly express the sadness in our hearts. The void that is left runs deep, but we know that our Heavenly Father greeted Vincent with open arms, as he truly was a loving and good man.
A visitation for Vincent will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home at 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. His life will be celebrated and remembered at a 10:00 a.m. mass on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Saint Jude Church in Boca Raton. Full Military honors will take place after the mass. Vincent will be laid to rest at a later date at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
