Victor K Riley

RILEY, Victor Karl (January 1928 – July 2018) – Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Trustbridge (Hospice) in his 90th year.  Victor was a quiet and gentle soul.  He was known for his kindness and love that extended beyond just his family.  As one family member described him, Victor was a kind and soft hearted man who laughed easily and could soothe a crying baby with his gentle arms.  Victor loved gardening and had a wonderful green thumb and every plant under his care thrived.  Victor also loved his Lord and Saviour and served faithfully at his church.  He worked for many years with Caribbean Cement Company in Jamaica, W.I. as a mechanical engineer.

Victor was a beloved husband to Kathleen Riley (deceased) of 64 years.  He will be dearly missed and remembered by his children, Beverly Anastasia Riley, Carlisto Riley (spouse Verona), Philip Riley (spouse Roma), Charmaine Hylton (spouse Allister), Carol Quallo (spouse Dennis) and Suzanne Caperton (spouse Scott).  Victor is predeceased by his parents, Ernest George Riley and Marie Riley (nee Bogle) as well as his siblings, John Fisher, George Riley, Joseph Riley, Elaine Blair and Veronica Hart.  He will be deeply missed by his many grandchildren - Rachael, Andrew, Sarah, Matthew, Kerry Ann, Alex, Melitsa, Joseph, Alicia, Keisha, Mark, Anna-Kaye, Justin and David.  Victor will also be dearly missed by his niece, Yvonne Harrison; nephew, Riccardo Miklos and spouse Kristen.  Victor will also be lovingly missed by his many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and dear friends.  The family would like to offer their sincerest thanks and appreciation to the Hospice Care Team for making Victor’s last few days of life comfortable.

A Celebration of Life for Victor will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Hwy, Boca Raton (561-672-1880) on Friday, August 10, 2018.  Viewing will take place at 11:00 a.m. and the memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Boca Raton Mausoleum.
