Traci Richards Scheppske, age 60, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born on March 12, 1964 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and later grew up in Buffalo, New York and Baltimore, Maryland before moving to South Florida. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob and children Bobby (Rosemary), Megan (Michael), and grandson Bobby.
Traci was a friend to everyone she met. She was known for her fun loving nature as her smile would light up every room she walked into. She loved staying active going for runs in the morning, playing tennis, and golfing with her family. Her adventurous spirit and boundless energy were matched only by her deep faith in Jesus, which guided her every step and inspired all who knew her.
Traci’s life was a testament to her commitment to others. She was a caring mother and wife. A common phrase shared by Traci was “be your own advocate.” However, she was always the one advocating and showing concern for others. This could be as she climbed mountains to raise awareness for human trafficking as part of the Freedom Challenge, her involvement with different groups at Advent Church, and her participation in many of South Florida’s networking and charitable organizations.
Traci’s ability to face life's challenges with grace and courage made her a true pillar of strength in her community. As we remember Traci, we celebrate her remarkable journey, her profound impact on countless lives, and the unwavering love she had for her family, friends, and faith.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 14 at Advent Church in Boca Raton. To watch the live stream of the service please click the following link: http://youtube.com/@adventchurchboca/streams
