Thomas Erick Mullings, 73, of Boca Raton passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
Tom Mullings was a decorated Army infantry combat veteran of the Vietnam War, who served as a scout dog handler with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was the proud recipient of the Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal and was one of the three original incorporators of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. He was active in the Palm Beach County Republican Party for many years, serving as the Editor of its monthly newsletter. He was born in Washington, DC, to Thomas V. Mullings and Elaine Sevalen Mullings.
He is survived by Cheryl, his wife of 51 years; brothers Mark (Verda) and Gary (Linda); nieces Becky Crosetto (Andres) and Jennifer Griffith (Geoffrey); nephews Thomas (Alexis) and Gary; great-nieces Annaliese, Sienna, Whitney and Rory; and great-nephew Gary.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3-4 pm on Saturday, October 9 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 PM. To watch the live stream of the Memorial Service please use the following link http://meet.google.com/whm-nzhz-bfp
He will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
