Theresa DeCandia

Theresa was born in Molfetta, Italy on December 24, 1947 to her loving mother Albina and father Anthony.  She had three sisters and one brother: Marta, Lina, Suzanna and Tommy.  Theresa came to America at the age of eight with her mother and siblings to start a new life; sadly, her father had passed away when Theresa was only two years old.  

Theresa met her husband of 52 years, Tommaso DeCandia, in Hoboken New Jersey, ironically he was from her home town in Italy.   They were blessed with a son, Gennaro.  Theresa was in the banking business most of her life as well as taking excellent care of the household.  She enjoyed cooking especially for family gatherings.  She adored her two beautiful grandchildren, Thomas (18 years old) and Gianna (14 years old) and cherished her daughter-in-law Natalie whom in her words was "the daughter she never had".  

Theresa spent her last days at home with her loved ones along with the wonderful care Trustbridge Hospice provided her.  We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, July 5th at Glick Family Funeral Home.
