With loved ones by his side, Theodore (Ted) Albert Catino, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021. All will miss the laughter and joy he shared with family and friends.
Ted was born on September 30, 1939 in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Albert and Alice Catino. Theodore was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, uncle, and caring friend. He was a man of deep convictions who found comfort in his faith. He died confident his life would continue in a better place, united with those he loved that passed before him.
Ted was married to Marlene for 57 years. Together they had three children and enjoyed a life full of travel and adventure. Ted is survived by his son, Ted Catino, Jr. (Becky), his two daughters, Julie-Ann Jawor (Chet) and Stephanie Lanker, his eight grandchildren: TJ (Cliona), Vince (Lauren), Danielle (Brent), Micaela, Mitchell (Jennifer), Delaney (Sean), Caleb (Mikeely) and Natalie, and his nine great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ethan, Lillian, Remy, Theo, Saoirse, Cecilia, Quentin, Lawson, and his 10th great-grandchild on the way.
Visiting hours will be at Ascension Catholic Church at 7250 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, June 30, 2021, from 10 am–10:45 am, immediately followed by Mass from 11 – Noon.
