Susan Carol Ploski

Susan Ploski of Boca Raton, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Susan dedicated her life to caring for others, working at Broward General Hospital as the ICU Assistant Head Nurse for 15 years and later serving as a devoted nurse at Aker Kasten Eye Center for 27 years. Her compassion and professionalism touched countless patients and colleagues throughout her long and meaningful career.

She lived her life with a heart devoted to the Lord and to others. Susan’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith blessed everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in people and never hesitated to lend a helping hand offering love, encouragement, and support wherever she went.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband, Ed Ploski; her beloved children, Shannon (Mike) Nettle, Amanda (Todd) Cool, and Erin (Seth) Jacobson; her cherished grandchildren, Max, Amelia, Joshua, and Connor; and her devoted sisters Joanne, Barbara, Kay and many nieces and nephews. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved them fiercely.

Susan’s legacy of faith, compassion, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton from 10am to 11am, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11am. She will then be laid to rest privately at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
