STEPHEN JOSEPH CLARK
Stephen J. Clark, age 57, of Boca Raton, Florida, died suddenly of a heart attack on Friday, September 3, 2021.
Stephen was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on the day that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, November 22, 1963. He was the second of 5 children of Joseph and Madeleine (nee McCollum) Clark. He is survived by his parents and his siblings Kenneth J. (Karen) of Denver, Colorado, Richard J. (Tracy) of Issaquah, Washington, Eric J. of Boca Raton, Florida, and Colleen M. Finger (Frank) of Charleston, South Carolina, and his son McCollum “Mac” Lowry Clark. His nephews Ryan, Connor, Gavin, and Dillon and niece Hope were special to him.
Stephen grew up in Rockville, Maryland and was educated in Maryland schools (St. Peter’s, Our Lady of Good Counsel, and Montgomery College). He continued his education in Florida schools (Johnson & Wales, A.A.- Culinary, and Nova Southeastern, B.A.- Business). He followed his passion as a chef in the restaurant industry. His skills as a chef were well known and recognized in southeast Florida and elsewhere. Stephen was a friend to everyone and made an impression on everyone he met.
His family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and to rejoice in the wonderful memories he made with us. A gathering will be held at the Glick Family Funeral Home, 3600 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33431, on Sunday, September 12 from 4 to 7 pm. A brief Catholic service will be held at 5pm. It will be streamed live through this link:
On Monday at 11am, there will be a final viewing, followed by a graveside service and interment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida.
