Shirley R Marks

Shirley Robinson Marks, 86, formerly of Austin Heights in Old Forge, Pa, and most
recently of Boca Raton, Florida, departed peacefully in her sleep on August 14th, 2023, at
Hospice by the Sea, Boca Raton. Born to the late Lawrence and Frances Maciolek
Lininger Amendt, Shirley’s legacy and memories will be cherished by many.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Robinson; second husband,
Emmanuel Marks; daughter, Sharon Legg; daughter-in-law, Andreia Robinson; and
sisters, Genevieve Stout, Dorothy Frable and Granddaughter Kimberly Legg all from Old
Forge, Pa.

She leaves behind her sons, Allen Robinson and wife Marsha of Boynton Beach, Florida,
and Scott Robinson of Boca Raton. Her lineage continues with her grandson, Clayton
Robinson; granddaughters Lauren Robinson, Paige Robinson, Amber Legg and Robin
Amstutz and husband Eric; and great-granddaughter, Samara Amstutz of Joint Base
Lewis McChord, Washington

Shirley's heart held special places for her two Golden Retrievers, Squire and Brandi, who
predeceased her. Fondly known as "Ma Rose," she treasured her bonds with neighbors,
including Norma, Martha, Jean, Dennis, among others. Many would find her enjoying
conversations in her driveway and playing dominoes during their monthly gatherings.
May she find eternal rest with her beloved pets, Squire and Brandi, and be reunited with
her daughters, Sharon and Andreia.

A celebration in her honor will be announced at a later time.
