Salvatore Sorrentino Obituary
It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Salvatore J. Sorrentino, 80, of Boca Raton, Florida. He passed away peacefully on the morning of February 24, 2025 with his family by his side.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on May 24, 1944. Sal was boisterous and so friendly. He never met a stranger. He loved to talk about his beautiful wife and family.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Valerio Sorrentino, three daughters, Theresa Rath and her spouse David Rath, and their four children, Joseph, Nichollas, Faith and Hope; Maria Davis and her two children Cliff and Matthew; and
Janine Gonzalez her spouse Danny Gonzalez, and their two children, Arianna and Mia. Sal is also survived by his loving sisters, Genevieve Schmitt, and Patricia Ashkin and her husband Howard Ashkin.
Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Saint Jude Catholic Church at 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, FL 33433, followed by a procession, to Boca Raton, Cemetery and Mausoleum at 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL, 33432.
