Sally Anne Thacher, 67, of Boca Raton, Florida unexpectedly passed away Friday July 26, 2024. Sally was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, nana, and friend who will be dearly missed. All that knew Sally would attest that her magnetic personality and radiant charm could “light up” a room.
Born March 9, 1957 in Providence, Rhode Island Sally was the daughter of the late Frank Satchell and Carole Emmett (Munroe). She graduated from Coventry Highschool class of 1975. Sally Moved to Boca Raton with her now late husband Kenneth G Adams in the early 1990s where they both developed successful real estate careers. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed travelling with family and friends abroad. She possessed a contagious love of life and was often heard admiring the simple beauty of nature and world around her. Sally valued her relationships with friends and family and enjoyed any opportunity to catch up with them. She was a loving mother and grandmother who went to great lengths to support those closest to her, and in return they loved her deeply.
Sally is survived by her two children: Christine Carol Thacher of Boca Raton Fl and her son Henry N Thacher IV with his wife Molly Thacher (milko) of North Kingstown, RI. Her two beloved grandchildren: Henry N Thacher V and Callum Daniel Thacher. Her mother Carol Emmet (Munroe) of South Kingstown, RI. Her two siblings: Susan Jay (Satchell) of warwick, RI and Mark Satchell of Johnston, RI. She will also be dearly missed by her close friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and anyone else that had the pleasure of meeting her during her lifetime.
Sally wished to be returned to her home state of Rhode Island upon her death. The family will have a small visitation at Glick Family Funeral Home Friday august 2, 2024 1-3p and invite anyone who would like the opportunity to come say goodbye before she returns to her home in Rhode Island.
