Russell Brunner, 68 of Boca Raton ,FL passed away at his home on Monday October 26,2020 after a short battle with cancer.
Russ was born on September 28,1952 in Manitowoc Wisconsin, son of the late Raymond and Emogene Brunner. Russ graduated from Valders High School in 1970 where he was an outstanding athlete in football, baseball and basketball. He married Michele Cappeluti on February 26,1993 in Boca Raton. Russ was employed by Manitowoc Engineering until relocating to Boca Raton where he worked as a meat cutter for Winn Dixie for 26 years. Then continued his employment with Publix as a meat cutter for 9 years, retiring in December 2019. Russ enjoyed spending time with his family at their cottage on Bass Lake in Townsend, Wisconsin. He was an avid Packers, Brewers and Wisconsin Badger fan. He also enjoyed golfing and days at the beach.
He is survived by his wife Michele Brunner of Boca Raton, two step children: Jason [Lina] Gascoyne of Boca Raton, Tyler [Tara] Gascoyne of Boca Raton, four step grand children: Elly, Emily, McKinley and Merritt, one sister and brother-in-law Janice and Ron Dugan of Manitowoc, one nephew Dean and Sue Dugan and their children, one niece: Lori and Al Norkosky and their children, and one Puggle named Harper who will miss him dearly along with Russ's many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 14 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
