Roselyn B. Driscoll of Westfield, N.J. passed away peacefully at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa. to Anthony and Rose Baranowski, she was beloved wife to Raymond T. Driscoll (deceased), devoted mom to Carol Croissiert of Summit, N.J., and Barbara Silver of Boca Raton, Florida, Nana to Davin, Cassi, and Derek, and great grandmother to Emma. She had many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind cherished friend Joseph Koczur of Westfield, N.J.
Lyn (as she was called) was one of eleven siblings: Alice, Valerie, Marion, Jean, Ruth, Tony, Edward, Stanley, Leo, and Alfred.
We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of our dear mom. Mom grew up on a farm in a large home built by her dad. She enjoyed the hillside and ponds with her family. She was an avid ice skater. Mom was a Mets fan and followed all the games with Davin and Joe. She was also a Wheel of Fortune fan, an Elvis fan, enjoyed reading, loved playing slots at casinos, and had a huge collection of owls. Mom had been a seamstress in her younger years and also worked in retail. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. We will miss you mom.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 14 at Restland Cemetery, 77 Deforest Ave., East Hanover, NJ followed by a luncheon in East Hanover, NJ.
