Ronald Smolenak Obituary
Ronald Smolenak, 78, Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Nazareth, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday August 14, 2024. He was the husband of Wendy (Lahr) Smolenak for 43 years.
Ronald was born on January 20, 1946 to the late Michael Smolenak and Pauline (Walter) Smolenak. He attended Nazareth High School and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Ronald worked in the Cement industry retiring in 2008. He belonged to several clubs in the Lehigh Valley area prior to moving to Florida. He was a member of the American Legion Post #277, Boca Raton serving as an officer for 2 years and the Elks Club #2166, Boca Raton.
He will be missed by his wife, Wendy; son, Ronald Smolenak and wife Kim of Northampton PA; daughter, Lisa Denton and husband Chris, Germantown TN; brother, Michael Smolenak and wife Brenda of Casa Grande, Az; sisters, Paula Buss and husband Wayne of Boca Raton, FL and Shirley Board of Boca Raton FL. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Jordyn and Mason Smolenak, Piper and Esten Denton. Nephew Wade Buss and wife Peggy, niece Ellyse Brause and husband Eric.
Glick Family Funeral Home oversees arrangements. There will be no service at this time.
