Roberto Suarez Jr. (Bob), 76, peacefully passed away January 7, 2021 after a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s.
He was born in Havana, Cuba. At the age of 16, he fled Communism and came to America. While in college, he met and married his loving wife, Maria, and they had two daughters, whom he loved dearly. He was later blessed with four grandsons who he enjoyed bragging about, and they in turn thought he was the greatest!
Bob worked in blood banking, while studying in college, which developed his passion for medical sciences. He then dedicated his career to biologics. During his career he worked for Abbot, Pasteur Merieux, NABI, and Biotest. He eventually started his own consulting firm, Biological Marketing Services, and was considered an expert in his field.
He will be remembered as a hard-working, dedicated family man who traveled the world, spoke several languages, and always had a joke or story to tell. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife, Maria; daughters, Michelle and Danielle; son-in-law’s, Richard and Alex; grandsons, Marc, John, Chris, and Kevin; sister, Sylvia; and brother, Jorge.
A private family Funeral Mass and Internment will be held on January 15, 2021.
