Robert Tully

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Charles Tully, 71, of Brielle, NJ and Deerfield Beach, FL. He left behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and deep compassion. Robert touched the lives of so many with his caring spirit and his heart of gold.

A generational member of Manasquan River Golf Club, Robert had a gift for making friends wherever he went. He loved welcoming everyone to his home in Brielle, where he was often found manning the grill and relaxing by the pool, creating memories with those he loved the most. In his years of retirement, he found community and friendship once again where here lived in Deer Creek up until his passing.

During his time at Affinia Hospitality in New York City, Robert was an inspiring and respected leader. He formed close bonds with colleagues who truly became like family to him.

We find peace in him joining several of his beloved family, who have passed before him.

Robert is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Carol Tully, and his daughters, Sara Tully (Israel Bermeo) and Emily Panella (Sean Panella). A proud and loving husband and father, he found his greatest joy in his family. Robert treasured his role as “Grandpa” to his grandchildren, Riley and Lily, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his siblings Barbara Denihan (Benjamin Denihan), Jimmy Tully, Carol Tully, and Debbie Flego (Tony Flego).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 25 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Boca Raton.
