In Loving Memory of Robert Holland Schneider
With great sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Holland Schneider, 46, of Boca Raton, Florida, who left us on Friday, September 13, 2024. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on December 19, 1977, Robert spent his formative years in South Florida, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature and the serene sunrises along the beach.
A proud father to his three beloved daughters, Andrea, Bria, and Cheyenne, Robert is also survived by his mother, Gail Gillig, and his siblings, Rachael, Kristin, Philip, and Justin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Jaydon, Nylah, Avery, Sofia, and Philip IV whom he adored. He leaves behind a cherished circle of friends and loved ones who admired his kindness and unwavering determination and passion.
For many years, Robert worked as an electrician and in construction, demonstrating not only skill in his trade but also a profound commitment to helping others, particularly those battling addiction. His empathy and understanding touched many lives, making a lasting impact on all who knew him. Known for his infectious smile and vibrant sense of humor, Robert had an unparalleled ability to light up a room.
To know Robby was to love him; he was the easiest person to fall in love with and the hardest to let go. We find peace in knowing he is now free from the struggles of addiction. We are grateful to all who loved Robby unconditionally, never giving up on him, regardless of how distant or close you became. We will forever cherish the memories we shared.
In honor of Robert, the family will hold a private sunrise memorial, and we ask that you remember him by celebrating the loving, caring, and hilarious person he was. As you witness a sunrise, think of him and the joy he found in those moments. For those struggling with similar challenges, we wish you the strength and courage to face each day with hope.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a scholarship fund for Robert’s children. Donations can be made by clicking the "Donation" tab on the page.
Rest in peace, beloved Robert. Your light will continue to shine through the love you shared, and you will forever be missed.
