Robert Walter Long

Robert "Bob" Long, 75 of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on July 26,2022.

Bob was born in White Plains, NY and moving to Florida as a youth in the 50's.  His family was one of the first to settle in the City of Margate.  He is a graduate of Pompano Beach High School.

He is a retired Postal Worker and proud veteran of the US Army Reserve.  Bob earned the ranking of Command Sergeant Major during his 30+ years with the Army.  He loved spending time at his local AmVets.

He is survived by daughter Kimberly, son-in-law John, son Chris, daughter-in-law Tiffany, grandchildren Hailey, Riley, Ashleigh, and Nickolas and great-grandchild Ryder.

A gathering for friends and family will be held on Monday, Aug 8th from 9:30am to 11:30amM at the Glick Family Funeral home, 3600 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton.  A Committal service with Military Honors will be held at 12:30pm at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida
