Richard D. Nickler, age 73, of 920 Via Villagio, Hypoluxo, FL 33462, departed this life on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 6:08 am peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family. He was born October 26, 1948 in Waynesburg, PA. He was a son of the late Frank and Helen Nickler. Growing up Mr. Nickler lived in the Cabbage Flats of Greensboro, PA and was a 1966 high honors graduate of Mapletown High School, 1970 Graduate of Penn State University with a BS Degree in Earth and Mineral Sciences in Mineral Economics, and Graduate Study in Economics at North Carolina State University. In 1987, Mr. Nickler earned his Degree of Master of Business Administration through Waynesburg College. That same year, he moved to Palm Beach County, FL. He was the General Manager of Managed Business Associates, Inc., and Lake Park Medical Care Center. He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, FL. The day before he left this world, he shared memories, laughter, music, and love with his family and friends. He loved fishing, football, and family.
Surviving family are his wife, Dr. Teresa Delgado Nickler, whom he married on June 15, 1991. Also surviving are four daughters, Kristina Bergman of Jupiter, FL, Amanda Mehregan of Miramar, FL, Kathryn Nickler Waters of Hypoluxo, FL, and Amy Nickler of Hypoluxo, FL; Son-in-Laws, August Bergman of Jupiter, Kaveh Mehregan of Miramar, Jonathan Waters of Hypoluxo, and Ricardo Chinchilla of Hypoluxo, FL; Grandson, August Bergman and Granddaughter, Melika Mehregan. One sister, Diane and William Davis of Naples, FL; two brothers, Francis and Patricia Nickler of Morgantown, WV; and Michael and Erin Nickler of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Mother-in-law, Deisy Delgado of Boca Raton, FL; brother-in-law Rafael and Ivis Delgado of Boca Raton, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and Friends will be received at the Glick Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33431 starting at 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022. A 10:00 am mass will be held for Richard on Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church-4001 N. Shore Dr., WPB, FL 33407. Following mass, approximately 12 pm, the funeral will be at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 S.W. 4th Ave., Boca Raton, FL 33432.
