On August 19, 2024, Richard Paul Miranti departed this life with family and friends by his side, and headed home to be with God at age 61.
Richard had a successful career as a software engineer for IBM for 25 years. Later, he worked as a Park Ranger, and eventually he became a Recreation Center Supervisor for the City of Boca Raton. This position led him to share his gifts, talents and joyful spirit with his colleagues and the community.
Richard leaves his devoted wife of 21 years, Maria Beatriz Miranti, Richard's sister Anita Andreacchi and her husband Frank, son Frank Andreacchi, wife Isabel and children Leonardo and Vincenzo, Richard's sister Linda Grumbar and her husband John, sons Scott and Gregory. Richard's brother-in-law David Jaramillo and his wife Patricia, son Jose Felipe and daughter Daniela and husband Alexander Niksch, Richard's brother-in-law David Lavinsky and his wife Adriana and daughter Allison Marie, and extended family and friends to forever cherish his memory. Richard is pre-deceased by his brother Mario Miranti.
The family of Richard will welcome friends for viewing on Friday, August 23rd, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11 am followed immediately by interment at the Boca Raton Mausoleum.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Richard, a beloved husband, brother, friend, and community member. Richard's kindness, and love for his family touched the lives of all who knew him.
