Richard Cruz

Richard Cruz a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54.

Richard was an entrepreneur in the real estate industry and is survived by his wife of 31 years Julie Cruz, his 3 children, Kyle, Taylor and Jessica as well as his daughter-in-law Shannon and grandson, Jagger.

Richard had the biggest selfless heart filled with so much generosity and love for others.  His love and zest for life were truly remarkable and he lit up the room with his smile and laughter.  
He was always joking around and never ceased to make everyone around him laugh.

He impacted others in a profound way and had a unique gift that made them feel special.  Hardworking, passionate, devoted, thoughtful, joyful, spontaneous and magnetic are just a few words that have been used to describe Rich.

He loved the Lord and was a faithful, devoted family man.  He always strived for greatness and truly lived life to the fullest in every aspect.  His greatest joy was taking family trips and enjoying quality time with those closest to him.  Seeing others happy, truly made his heart happy.
 
Some of his favorite things to do was attend college football games with some of his closest friends, going to the beach, traveling, taking care of his family, and any activity the kids were involved in whether it be sports, theater, or dance.  He never missed an event involving his children.  Rich adored his family.  He would always go above and beyond to solve a problem, he was always up for the challenge and was willing to help anyone out that needed it.  In the end, all he really cared about was serving others, those he loved and those he didn’t even know.  His larger than life personality and laughter will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
