Rhoda Lou “Dusty” Aronsohn of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of New York City and born in Detroit, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2024, at the age of ninety-nine. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Aronsohn Jr., Rhoda Lou will be deeply missed by her devoted and treasured daughter Isabelle Ager (John), and their daughters Nicole and Amanda who were cherished by their grandmother. She is also survived by her dearest daughter Robin Braka’s husband Ivor and their much-loved children David, Benjamin, and Rachel. Rhoda Lou was devoted to her family and friends, involved in numerous charities, and had a passion for travel. In her later years, despite the loss of her husband and the significant progression of her macular degeneration, Rhoda Lou continued to seize every opportunity to travel, explore new places and meet new friends. Rhoda Lou’s zest for life has always been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to not only her family but to all those who knew her.
Contributions may be made to the Schepens Eye Research Institute of Massachusetts Eye and Ear.
