Patricia G. Bruns

Patricia Galvin Bruns, of Boca Raton, Florida, died peacefully at her home on July 23, 2025, at the age of 95, surrounded by her family.

Known as Pat to her friends and Duchess to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was a woman of deep faith and quiet strength. Pat lived with kindness, grace, and a wonderful sense of humor that made everyone feel welcome in her presence.

She had a lifelong love of the water and cherished summers spent on Cape Cod with her daughter Lee and her family, where some of her happiest memories were made by the ocean. At the age of 75, she fulfilled a dream decades in the making with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galápagos Islands to visit her daughter Jaci, who lives there. She loved watching tennis and football, was an avid reader, and never turned down a good conversation—or a peaceful afternoon by her pool, soaking up the Florida sun.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald F. Bruns, and her daughter, Kim (Bruns) Strobis. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Bruns (Ramon) and Lee Holmes (Kevin); her six grandchildren, Justin, Kara, Ryan, Brittany, Trevor, and Ryley; and her four great-grandchildren, Michael, Ava, Maeve, and Callan.

Visitation will be held at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton on Thursday, July 24, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 25, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
