Olivia Stefanovic Obituary

Olivia Annette Stefanovic, 25, of Boca Raton passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Olivia was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on a Friday, November 15, 1996. She was a Scorpio which has traits of deep and emotional intensity. That was Olivia going back to her early days as a youth. The dial was always on full. She loved to smile with an intense glow. Olivia was a sweet, compassionate and generous soul. She loved her family and started a family tradition at Thanksgiving asking everyone what they were thankful for. She was fun-loving, daring, adventurous, loved rollercoasters, and skateboarding. She surfed and boogie-boarded the beautiful Florida beaches. She loved the ocean. She believed in justice and was passionate for those who struggled. She was always for the “little guy” and stood her ground. She was a courageous young woman.

She was a gifted artist, attending the prestigious Bak Middle School of the Arts, Dreyfoos High School of the Arts and The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She was an equally gifted musician, playing the guitar, piano and banjo. When she was 10 years old, she gave her first guitar concert, playing Kansas’ Dust in the Wind. She wrote songs and sang for her family and friends and local venues in town.  She had an in-depth knowledge of music. Her favorite music band was the Who, but she also loved Bob Dylan and Modest Mouse. She was a talented interpreter of Irish music like the Dubliners, and The Clancy brothers. She was also an accomplished blue grass musician, and taught her friends to play guitar and banjo, later forming a blue grass school band.

She loved spending time with her brothers (Nick, Georges and Matthew) and sisters (Gracie and Hannah). She loved playing video games with her brothers and teaching her sisters how to draw and play music. She was a beautiful daughter that loved her blended parents (Patty & Robert) and (Tammy & Randy). There was love from both ends of her wonderful blended family. She greatly loved her brother Nick and they both were intensely involved in all aspects of music. Her heartfelt involvement with Gracie was unbelievable as she helped her with all her heart and provided care, joy and education. She loved her smart brother Georges and helped him achieve his super master intellect. She loved her brother Matthew as he was growing up as a baby and loved laughing and dancing with him on all the holidays. She loved her sister Hannah and they loved doing things together like singing and writing songs on the guitar. She loved her grandparents and extended much worldly joy. She is survived by all of the people mentioned. Heaven gained a beautiful soul and left a powerful influence here on earth.  She will be intensely missed. We all love her and will always see her vision and reflection on the beautiful Florida sky.

A visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, June 16 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 17 at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church in Boca Raton.  Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the families have established the Gracie Fund to honor Olivia’s memory and her desire to help her amazing little sister. Her sister has the same courage as Olivia had when she walked this earth. Much love to all.
