Norman Norbert Jacob passed away on August 28, 2025. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin. A proud patriot, Norman served as a United States Marine stationed in California.
He enjoyed a long and successful career with United Parcel Service, where he worked in management for over 30 years. His career allowed him to live in many places, raise his family, and travel the world, opportunities for which he was always grateful.
Norman loved fishing and hunting, especially trips to Canada with his sons, as well as golf. He had a true passion for traveling the world. He also enjoyed sharing his casino strategies and stories from his time in places like Lake Tahoe.
Norman lived with an entrepreneurial spirit, and his family and friends will always remember his optimistic attitude, wonderful sense of humor, and unforgettable laugh. His daily “corny” one-liners and infamous dad jokes remain some of the most quoted memories among his loved ones.
Norman is survived by his four sons: Daniel Jacob of Deerfield Beach, Dennis Jacob of Port Saint Lucie, David Jacob and his wife Lynne of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Don Jacob of Fort Myers; as well as his two grandchildren; Andrew Jacob, Kaitlyn Stallings and her husband Will.
He leaves behind his loving companion, Barbara Rohan, with whom he shared many years. He also embraced her family as his own: her son Thomas and his wife Desiree; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Thomas and his wife Mara and her great-granddaughter, Karliah.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, with visitation at 2:00 PM followed by a service at 3:00 PM at Glick Funeral Home, 3600 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
