Molly Edith Lamont

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Molly Edith Lamont, on June 9, 2021.

Molly was born on May 26th, 1944 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.  She was raised in the small community of Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Molly attended Butler High School and went on to graduate with her B.S. in Math Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1965. It was in college that she participated in sports, was president of the Women’s Recreation Association, and was active in in-service organizations.  She began her career as a high school math teacher and went on to do the same for the Peace Corps. in the Philippines. Her retirement years were spent living in Deerfield Beach, Florida where she managed both her own and many of the Sea Esta Condominium properties. It is during this time in her life, she acquired the love and friendship of both permanent residents and seasonal vacation visitors from all over the U.S. and Canada for many years.  Her true passions were her cats and gardening, and she was a regular church member at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
