Mirta, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and generosity that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mirta was the daughter of a Spanish father, Silverio Fernandez, and an Italian mother, Angela Boldrini. One of four children, she carried a rich cultural heritage that shaped her warmth, resilience, and deep devotion to family.
She is survived by her loving children, Giselle, Lionel, and Lisette; her sister Norma and brother Silverio; her son-in-law Mark; her daughter-in-law Wanda; and her cherished grandchildren, Stefan, Conrad, Conner, and Sydney, whom she loved deeply, as well as her canine grandson, Dublin. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Mirta dedicated 34 years of her life to her career as a realtor at Lang Realty, earning a reputation for her strong work ethic, perseverance, and unwavering determination. She was a woman of great strength—persistent and resilient—who faced life’s challenges with courage. Even in difficult times, she believed in moving forward and inspired those around her to do the same. She continued working with dedication and strength throughout her life, reflecting her deep sense of purpose.
Deeply devoted to her faith and community, Mirta served as President of the Arts and Crafts Group at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for over 16 years. She worked tirelessly alongside a wonderful group of women, helping organize Easter and Christmas sales that raised funds in support of the Church. In her final days, she remained strong in her faith and continued attending church services online.
Mirta had a vibrant spirit and joyful personality. She loved to laugh, sing, and bring happiness to others. She was known for her big, welcoming smile and witty sense of humor, which made everyone feel at ease. She also had a special gift with plants—a true green thumb—and found great joy in caring for her beloved orchids.
She was a loving and devoted mother who was always present for her children—a constant source of support, guidance, and unconditional love.
Above all, Mirta was a woman of kindness and generosity. She helped many people throughout her life, always from the goodness of her heart and never expecting anything in return. Her compassion touched countless lives.
She is deeply missed, and her love, her light, and her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
