Milton, age 85, passed away in Delray Beach Medical Center on January 30, 2020.
He was born in Xios, Greece on April 8, 1934. He was one of 4 children of the late Aristides Steliaros and Alexandra Venetis-Steliaros.
He arrived in New York in 1957 and fell in love and married his late wife Ermioni Stratakis in 1959.
His great joys in life were preparing food for others, dancing, singing, telling jokes and just having fun.
He was a long time member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Port Jefferson, New York. Every year he donated his time having fun at the Greek Festivals.
He worked as a chef in Greek Diners and in 1980 opened his own restaurant, The Greek Village Restaurant in Commack, New York.
He met the second great love of his life, Maria Ilyadis and married her in 1995. He and Maria moved to Florida in 2003.
After 9 years in Florida they sold the restaurant and retired to living the good life in Florida and discovered St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton.
He is survived by his wife Maria, his daughter Alexandra Steliaros, his son and daughter-in-law Aristides and Anna Steliaros and his grandchildren Miltiades Steliaros, Kamio Steliaros, Kyra Petalas and Anna Maria Petalas.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 pm on Monday, February 3 at Glick Family Funeral Home in Boca Raton.

The family will receive friends for the wake from 2-4 & 6-9 pm on Wednesday, February 5 at OB Davis Funeral Home, 4839 Nesconset Hwy., Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 6 at The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, 430 Sheep Pasture Rd., Port Jefferson, NY 11777.
